I hope the Console Edition of Don't Starve gets the frequent updates like the PC version does, or at least a bundle of updates from the PC version at certain points

For now, yeah. They've expressed interest in wanting to look into a Vita version later.

Right, think I'm going to bite the bullet and sign up to 3 months worth of PS+ as the current offerings are quite good! Just wondering, I probably won't have the time or HDD space to download all of this months games in time, so if I just purchase them for free can I download them later on, even when the month is over?

Yep. As long as you have an active subscription, you have access to any games you "purchased" with Plus. You can't play them if your subs runs out, but you get access to them again if you resub.

Probably due to the HMV sales they are having, as the one in Oxford Street is shutting down, and opening a smaller one

I can guarantee you only one store had them in stock at that price and it was a one off.

I tried a store in London and they had the 90 day ones on the shelf for like £7 but they had none in stock at all when I asked for 4 of them so i got nothing.

I then tried a couple of stores in Glasgow and no stock at all on the shelves.

Lot's of people already know they have been selling them for cheap for ages and bought them all up, that HMV store must be in an obscure location if it still had stock.

I did manage to get 2 x 365 day subs for £53.95 using a £30 Very voucher and opening a credit account.

£40 each per sub and £3.95 delivery.

Each 365 day sub worked out to £27

I was thinking about getting this if I got a ps4. How does it work exactly do you only get the games from the point of subscription or can you go back to previously released games and download them?

And how does it work for the ps4, can you only download ps4 games or do ps3 ones work?

You can only claim the games that are available when your subscription is active. Once you have claimed a game, you can download it at anytime as long as your subscription is active (this applies even if you let it expire then renew it).

The PS4 can't play PS3 games. You could use the online store on your PC to claim the PS3 games but you'd need to buy a PS3 to be able to download/play them.

Never really thought much bout PS+, just thought it was another rip off thing like Xbox Live (which I have never ever paid for). I knew you got free games, but thought they where cheapo ones, turns out I was wrong!

I just signed up for the 14 day free trial, and after that is finished I will be buying the 12 month one for sure. Getting Don't Starve for free is enough for me, but I'm currently downloading DmC for PS3, a game I always wanted, but never got round to buying... now I get it for free, rock and roll!

I own all current consoles, and I was always a Xbox guy, that is changed so much now. My XB1 mainly sits there gathering dust, I really hate the dashboard on it. And not to mention something that always peed me off with Xbox was you have to pay for live to use Netflix, YouTube and even browse the darn web! I prefer my Wii U over the Xbox, and I never thought I'd say that!

My love affair with Xbox is dwindling at a very rapid pace I can tell you!
