Playstation Plus

Really tempted to get this, theres a few games i'd try on it but mostly id be getting it for Bioshock infinite. Is it worth it for that game alone?

Bioshock & metro are both great games I recommend getting a 12 month subscription as you can only play the free games as long as you have subscription. You can also log into PS store via your web browser and click purchase on the free PS4 games even if you don't have console yet check out cdkeys.com to get PS plus cheaper :D,

Is "Metro Last Light" worth a download?

Very good game and plays quite well on the PS4 (considering the engine is quite demanding).

A couple of sections I have come across are frustrating (waves of enemies whilst waiting for something to happen type events) but overall it is fun.

So apparently our games for March are:

PS4: Dead Nation
PS3: Tomb Raider, Brothers A Tale of Two Sons
Vita: Smart As, Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD

Dang, Got TR on the 360 (still yet to play it) and I am not interested in the others (might take a look though). At least this gives me a chance to play the games I have already.

I downloaded Brothers last night, intending to play it before it appears on PS+ so that I at least feel like I got my money's worth by buying it!

Ooh well pleased been meaning to pick up Tomb Raider for some time! Will have finished Bioshock Infinite by then hopefully.

Even though I haven't got a PS4 yet, I'd already set myself the rule of not playing the PS3 version of any PS3+PS4 games so TR on PS3 PS+ is a tough one.

If it was a case of buying one or the other I'd agree (it's much the same approach I have) but 'free' vs £35 or so? Free wins.

PS+ is the only reason am keeping my ps3, really need to upgrade the HDD in it though am running out of space

is it hard to do? + to keep all settings, saved games etc?

Dead easy, but you need a decent sized external HDD and a few hours.

I upgraded my 320GB to a 750GB. Disk was at about 300GB, and it took a good 2-3 hours to back up to the external drive, 10 mins to swap the disks, and another 2-3 hours to restore.

IIRC you need to download the latest firmware onto the external drive too, I think this is the guide I followed: http://www.gamefront.com/how-to-upgrade-or-replace-your-ps3-hard-drive

Usually the new stuff hits the last wednesday of the month but I don't think I have seen any mention of March other than the Dead Nation rumours, are we getting anything today?

Took me 9 hours to do a backup of 300gb, had to leave it overnight.
That can't be right can it?

I'm putting in a 500gb today, hopefully restoring it wont take so long.
