As long as you check out they will be available to download as long as you have a PS+ account. If your PS+ account expires they will become available again when you re sub. You can check out on your console or PC on the PlayStation store.
I started playing it today, it's the first game I've played this year after getting bored. And it's a cracker. Beautiful artwork and neat little puzzles. I fear it will all be over too soon though.
It's longer than I expected it to be. Great game though, I liked it a lot.

Started it last night, quite like the art style, controlling both brothers at once was a bit disorientating for the first half hour or so.

I find it strange that they are gviing us games that could play on a ps2 not alone ps4. Apparantly its easy to port PC games over to PS4. I wish they would give us something a little demanding of the ps4.
But what can they give when the thing has only been out for 5 months? No one is going to develop a new game and give it away for nothing. It'll be between 12-18 months before we start seeing half decent stuff turn up, perhaps even longer than that.
How long did we have to wait for PS+ on the PS3 before it started getting good?

Thats why I mentioned porting things over from PC. They dont have to create a new game, just move something over that challenges the system a little.
It's up to the developers to bring their games to the PS4 though, you can't realistically expect a whole lot at this stage.

People wanting developers to just port a few PC games over are hugely underestimating the complexity and costs of doing so.
It's great saved me money as I sell the hard copys of games.

I don't have PS+ at the moment. But I'm wondering if another user on my PS3 is and downloads/installs a game that's free, can I log on my user and play it?
I know it works on the PS4 (got Don't Starve even if I'm not PS+), is there any difference on the PS3?
If it doesn't work, can I download the free game on the PS+ account, and then play it myself when I got PS+ later on even if it was not in my purchase history?

You can play any game that is installed by another user as long as their PS+ service is still active.
If that person's sub ends but you yourself subscribe, you'll only be able to play stuff that is in your own download list.

Yeah you can do it, I've got two accounts on this PS3, one with Plus and one without. If I download a game on the Plus account I can log into the non-Plus one and play the downloaded games.
