Playstation Plus

Played PES 2014 is is pretty decent, if not better than fifa certainly a good game in its own right, I particularly like the ways in which you can hold off a tackler and hold the ball up.

Edit: After playing a few games I uninstalled PES 2014 because it just doesn't match up to FIFA at all. I had way more fun playing the FWC14 demo, PES is too clunky and slow in comparison.

Wasn't all that impressed with the PS4 offerings in this months batch, its seeming from most Ps4 owners views to be a poor game.

But sly cooper for the PS Vita seems ok, I tried moto GP 13 on the Ps vita - was ok glad I didn't pay for it.
 
God PES takes ages to get setup, huge download, loads of files, then ingame updates etc etc etc.

Nice to have a footy game, it'll take some getting used to after all of those years of fifa.

I wouldn't bank on big titles for PS4 for some time tbh, though some on the PS forums reckon knack will be on plus soon i'm not certain that retail PS4 titles will be on plus for sometime. Last summer was pretty good for free ps3 games even if I did already have most of them!
 
I think they'll give ACIV away when the new one, Unity, comes out. So maybe November this year? Although I don't know when Unity is expected.

I think PS3 games are given away becuase the PS3 has a huge worldwide user base and is a near EOL console, it's not a given that PS4 will have a similar IGC.

Yes, I suppose now that everybody has to pay PS+ for multiplayer, they can pretty much just give shovelware out as the PS4 instant game collection.

In the training mode it seems like a really deep game, during an actual match it's just dire though. There are so many different controls the command list is akin to a fighting game. They could have implemented the skills a LOT better than the way they currently are, it just feels so unnatural and clunky. I also hate the way the game doesn't let you outpace anybody, to me it feels like when you pass to one of your attackers it gives the defending side a massive pace boost making it pretty much impossible to actually outpace people.

There seems to be no attacking movement whatsoever, it's impossible to play proper free flowing attacking football because my sides just stand around doing nothing, they don't even bother trying to find a bit of space to receive a pass, let alone make runs. It still feels like when you take a shot the gravity gets disabled, the ball just floats around like it's filled with helium, it's pathetic. Let's not even go into detail about the goalkeepers, absolutely awful.

Resogun and Outlast are pretty good titles. Dead Nation was just ok in the end for me, I'd played the game on Ps3 so wasn't overly fussed in the end about it.

Mercenary kings though looked dreadful from the start, and reviewed by many equally as much. I guess we'll have to wait and see what next months offerings for PS4 owners are.
