Playstation Plus

Just signed up to PS+ tonight on the current offer.

Hadn't intended to but was browsing the store and saw the games available and that Bioshock 2 would be coming next month and it looked too good to miss.

I take it the plan is to purchase all the free stuff to get it on to your download list regardless of whether you actually download it or not?

#12 Far Cry 3

It has been delayed until Friday, SCEE are notorious for this kind of stuff so I'm not surprised at all.

They are, they're late with things all the time. Doesn't bother me as much because I still have XBL and Steam stuff like that but for people who only have PSN I feel bad for them, a lot of angry people on their blog although to be fair to them not all of the comments are justified. I hope MK Vita drops today, I officially have no work now until 2013 so it would be nice to have =)

EDIT - MK is now showing as free for PS Vita on the store.

Honestly a two day delay, after the content that Sony have been pushing since June for the measly cost of a PSN+ subscription people can't just chill out and be patient.

I guess these are probably the same people who believe the world would end today so were upset they might never get to play MK

I am definitely enjoying it more than I expected and although the fight intro / close ups look poor once zoomed out to the normal fight view everything looks fine, havnt played a MK games since Ultimate MK3 on the Saturn and its bringing back memories.

I have a question about ps plus,

If I get it do my games get deleted when there's a new game collection available, or do I keep all the games so long as I'm a ps plus member?

Thank you

you keep them as long as you are a member, also, if your sub runs out, and you decide to resubscribe at a later date you regain access to the games you had.

Also, anything that you bought/checked out or downloaded will be saved and logged in your Transaction History, so you can always go back to that to get them again. And because of the way it works, you can Add To Cart and Checkout any game that is free from PS+ and then leave it. You don't have to download it straight away as it will be saved in the history. Very useful if you want to get a game that is available on a certain month before they update and change the collection and you feel like you may have missed the opportunity.

PS+ Jan Content is now live.

edit, if anyone knows how to download Guardians of middle earth (I have the unlock but not the full game) then please let me know, the PS Store can be a real PITA
