Playstation Plus

Really happy to get Freedom Wars. I've been thinking about buying this game for a while now.

Played some of it tonight and it's fun! I think I'd have been happy to buy this. Sometimes it can feel like everything just gets in your way but other than that. I'm enjoying the game.

As a person who is yet to use their PS4 (I have MGSV but I've also finished it on PC, can't currently afford Uncharted Collection) and still has/uses their PS3, would it be a good idea to get PSPlus to stock up on those free games? I found out just today that even if you don't have the PS4 linked to PSPlus yet, or even if you don't own a system, that you can still claim and add the free PSPlus games to your account. The example given (in the video I watched) was with PSVita, just claim the PSVita games and if you ever buy a PSVita, hey presto you have a ton of free games to play. Pretty nifty that. At the very least I'd get more to play on my PS3 that is still going strong. No way am I getting rid of it (PS4 doesn't have PS3 backwards compatibility and I still play those games).

I'll use that Shopto offer posted above if it's worth it. I can do the things via the Playstation Network android app, you can actually do some cool stuff with it (like turn on your console and use it as a keyboard) too.

Yeah, I had a year's worth of PS4 PS+ games ready to install when I got my PS4 a year after launch. You just add them via the webstore.

How do you get the free PS plus games then? I saw a video which claimed you went on the website and got all the past free games, then and now. But I'm clueless..

Have an active membership btw.

Any that you've "bought" when they were free will be available for you to download any time you want, as long as you have an active PS Plus account.

If, however, you sign up for the first time today... you'll only be starting with this month's.

Pretty much why it's best to just hop on every month and buy all the free ones, even if you don't see yourself playing them any time soon.

Hello

My wife and I have just purchased a PS4 to share between us.

We have also purchased a 12 months subscription to the playstation plus.

We have created our own profile each on the PS4.

Can you tell me if we can both share the playstation plus subscription, or will we have to each buy our own subscription for the playstation plus.

ie....It's £40 a year each! or can we both share the 1 subscription on our PS4 between us.

Thanks

You only need one PS+ subscription tagged to the primary user account and all other accounts on the same console can play the games.

I don't tend to get on with many of the PS+ games, but after getting bored of playing Star Wars for a couple of weeks and letting a family member have it for a couple of weeks, I loaded up Gauntlet.

Such a fun little game! Not the biggest game as it was easily completed, but I assume the joy is doing so with all the characters and then online mode.

I'm loving Gaunlet. Played once with 2 other friends which was a blast but solo is pretty cool too. Finished it on normal and the final boss was a bit tricky. My only complaint is that there weren't nearly enough bosses.

Oh and the wizard is fun to use and quite tricky to learn.

Now of course PS+ is needed to play online (on PS4), does that functionality work the same way too with multiple accounts? For example, back on XB360, me and my brother needed seperate Xbox Live subscriptions to be able to play online, even local multiplayer together. Would I need to purchase a seperate PS+ sub for each account that uses online (on the same PS4) in the same way, or is it all shared on the same console?
