Emm, impressive :p

I as keeping am eye out for some of them and got around 20% of the hidden gems etc. So you also took photos of the bits needed and all the other hidden things?

Can you restart levels in Uncharted, ie can i go back and get gems now from each level? "Ive completed it".

Yes mate you can go back and redo levels if you've missed something. I also used this technique on crushing if I got to a part which was to hard. I'd go back to a chapter and hold onto a one shot one kill weapon to make the hard sections a little easier.

I also always leave my Vita on standby, the battery lasts for ages - granted I dont sit on it and game for much more than 30 mins at a time/day, but still im amazed that when I go to bed that the thing is still alive nicely :D

Anyone else a bit disappointed with Motorstorm RC? The first half is FANTASTIC but when the stupidly fast cars are bought out that are no fun to play I've just given up unlike the previous races where I'd spend hours perfecting my racing line :( Glad I didn't have to pay for it as I use a US account.

I love the game, I was one of the many who had to pay to get it and will buy EVERY new festival they release as DLC so long as they are a) the same length as the ones in the game and b) reasonably priced. I'm talking around £2 per festival considering the full game is £4.79.

The two that we know are coming are definitely the same length as the existing ones as they both have a "Complete in under 12:00 minutes" trophy.

They'll be the first DLC I've ever bought. I won't be buying the liveries for cars though, not sure why anyone would.

I just don't like how the later races are 'cheap' in the fact you have a crappy skiddy car whereas the earlier ones require cornering skill which is much more fun imo :)

The later cars require more skill because you have to control the slide. The early cars you can pretty much get 3 medals without ever touching the brake whereas the super car and the rally car need careful application of throttle brakes and steering in order not to wipeout when the back steps out and sends you into the wall. On the early cars that just doesn't come close to happening.

What I love about the game is that a lap is between 10-25 seconds and full races are a max of like 1:30. That means if I'm doing a time attack and bork the first corner I've only got to wait a few seconds to try another lap. Compare that to full racing games things like Gran Turismo where if you screw up one corner you have to wait a minute+ to try again only to screw up a different one.

The only thing I'd like to see added are ghosts for the overtake races. Those can be frustrating only in that you'll get to the end of it thinking you had a nice clean lap and find you didn't improve as you aren't told at any point how well you are doing compared to previous attempts. The only races in the entire game which do it.

Hey folks I've not only beaten Uncharted: Golden Abyss I've grinded the hell out of it to find every rare black-market drop. Seen has the Near trade thing seems to be broken I at to redo levels over and over until I almost lost my sanity. lol

Just a few seconds ago the Platinum trophy popped up. Yay I can finally play something else......... I've been hammering it since the 22nd.

I've gotten about 4 things from the black market so far. Still a long way to go but it seems to be working.
Looking forward to playing through on Crushing soon. Just playing something else so I don't get burned out.

How are people using there VITA?
I have this nagging feeling i should be getting more time typically between charges?
I always charge to full, an play until the battery dies, never played, when connected to charger.
Typically 4+ hours playing or surfing.
Do members turn off, there vita or leave in stand by?

4+ is about right. Mine goes into standby on it's own after 5 minutes.

Remember that while your phone might last a day it definitely doesn't when playing games.

Where it show the price of download vita games on PSN ??

Example: I can't see the price anywhere for the Rayman® Origins vita game on this page in this link below..
http://uk.playstation.com/psvita/games/detail/item433602/Rayman®-Origins/

If you want to check the price of games from the PSN your best place to look is either on the PS Store on the PS3 or Vita or on the PS Blog.

Had a busy weekend doing other bits so didn't get a chance for much Vita. I did start playing Rayman and it looks incredible on the screen. Also did the first 15 levels of Escape Plan.

@DBT85

If you look at the trophy lists for the dlc you can see they are the same length as one full festival so thats not too bad :)

Does anyone know when theyre actually releasing the new courses?

Also can someone help me out on Motorstorm. I need to reduce my overall time across the board by 57s. Now I have golds for all the races so I figure that doing timetrials to shave off miliseconds is pointless as that won't add up to nearly enough time to get the below 40 minute trophy across all races SO am I right in thinking I need to reduce my times in the overtaking and standard races across all seasons? Or do I really need to think about shaving milliseconds off those time trials?

@Seanoog

I get typically 5.5 hours of playing BUT I guess it does depend on a few other things. Thats me playing stardust and motorstorm mainly till I get platinum on motorstorm and Id guess those games dont push the Vita's processing power to the max and I will play a little Unit 13 typically a level and the daily challenge.

Then I have the WiFi version so I have no 3G draining the battery which if someone has the 3G version will be drained quicker also

Yeah I did mention that trophy ;) No word yet on when they'll be released

To shave your time off look to see where you are REALLY slow compared to others. A chunk of that is going to be on overtake races and full races and possible also on Drift events.

I saw for example that Murray (Muracle on the PSN) was 27 seconds faster than me in the Arctic Edge festival. I went in to each race to see how much better he was and set about improving my times to beat or at least get close. Some races I knocked 5 seconds off my best time.

Remember, the longer the event the more chance you have to save time. So on an event with a 10s lap time there isn't much room for improvement. On a track with a 25s lap however there is plenty.

I also found that a couple of the scrapyard type tracks with the narrow sections were FAR easier with the camera above than set to dynamic which I did almost everything else in.

Just finished Uncharted, Over all i have to give it 6.5 which yes is ALLOT lower than reviews before i start this is how i rate the others.

Uncharted 2 10/10
Uncharted 3 9/10
Uncharted 1 8/10
Golden Abyss 6.5/10

I know its not the same developer, Whilst i enjoyed the story and characters the cameo was nice by Sully too, Graphics stunning BUT The dam touch controls ruined it for me, Instead of drawing you into the game i think it pulled me out and they were frustrating more than anything especially the last 2 boss fights they were a joke.

They put it on everything they could, Climbing not needed which luckily i avoided using, But really for example if you falling off you have to swipe half time i did get it right it said i didn't.

Melee combat uses it also? Again not needed and a pointless feature to have.

Camera whilst i got used to it is not that great when compared to the others again this is were the different dev has had an effect.

I get it sounds like im hardly praising the game but the touch aspect didnt give me immersion in the game they just plain annoyed me.

Still for a launch title its worth having.

Quick question about Motorstorm; Are the trophies separate for the PS3 and Vita versions? I have been playing almost exclusively on Vita (although before the Vita came out I did about 5 tracks on PS3). Would they show up as 2 separate entries on my Trophy list?

My SuperStardust has started updating the high score table again. Some of the high scores are insane. I always die on the final world and lose my multiplier :( But I still don't know how people have got 30mill+ more than my (quite reasonable) 60million score. Only played Arcade mode so far, but I am wondering if there are more weapons (apart from Ice and Fire).

As soon as you boot the PS3 version up it'll start downloading your times and syncing with the server. You'll automatically get all the trophies again as they both have separate trophy lists. As a result I now but a total of 2 Platinums. Both for Motorstorm RC :D

And I've not played much of Stardust but I'm crap at it so far! I think my bet score was 2 million and I can easily average under a million. Need to spent some more time with that one I think!

Not looked at the trophy list for MS, but I suspect it will take me a while to get. Like someone else mentioned, the change in difficulty on the Buggy/Supercar is quite steep (imo). Last time I checked I was quite low down on my Friends list for most festivals (although I guess that may change once I complete an actual festival as I think the time on the front screen is an average of all events).

So far I am really impressed with the Vita. The battery seems to last a very long time (although a percentage indicator would be a nice addition). The games I have so far are all excellent (that's before I have even loaded Uncharted!).

All I want to see, for now, is:

1) Firmware/function updates
2) More games
3) Cheaper digital games or sales or PS= discounts.

Been happening to me since launch, gave up playing it online now. I've tried everything and it defo ain't my connection. I think it's just broke, kinda reminds me of PES2009 (think, 2009?) when that was broken online on the 360...they never fixed it

what does your nat say ? mine says type 3 which is strict

I've had this issue with the scores not updating on stardust. I was most disturbed when my score of 90m seemed to be lost in the ether. But the following day when i booted the game up, my score was there

There are only fire and ice weapons on delta. Although the original PS3 game had one more weapon if I remember correctly.

Yeah when you look at the front page for each festival you get a whole time which is way out until you set a time in each event.

The supercar challenges are the toughest and so by default so is getting 3 medals in every event, but everything else is fairly achievable I think.

Was looking on you tube and seen some videos about the Vita being hacked and was running PS3 games via remote play and the usual lame homebrew, dunno if fake or not, but if the hackers are doing it then Sony should have it soon?

Not sure how long my battery lasts, only been using it in the house so far and just charge as and when needed, think its over 4 hours though which seems decent enough to me with the screen pretty bright and wifi enabled. Will be on the train this weekend so will be a better test if it lasts the 5 hour so journey, then again I can normally find a power source so should be ok :D

Everybody's Golf is still my main game, really tough on the gold level :D Gonna get tucked into uncharted soon though :)

In those Videos the Vita isn't hacked, the PS3 is. Every game has a file which tells the PS3 if it can allow remote play or not, hacked PS3s can change that file to allow all games to play. What you rarely see in those videos is the lag which most games suffer from when played like that.

Yes, using that method you CAN play RDR on your Vita but you wouldn't WANT to as it's a crappy way of playing it.

I'm not expecting many existing games to get changed to allow remote play, but hopefully more new games being released will support it much better.

I expect MANY more PS4 games to support it as it will probably be an OS feature that Sony have added rather than something that developers have to allocate resources to which they do on the PS3.
