I think I am going to get Tactics Ogre before the sale ends. I still havn't played MGS at all yet but I've heard to much praise about TO. Not going to splurge on anything else though, already have FF7 8 & 9 waiting to play too.

I had a Go but only bought a couple of games on it. I'd love to play more but I've still not finished or even "played enough" the games I got on launch day!

Getting there slowly though. Playing the Vita every day at the moment.

With LBP being a definite day one buy as well as FFX HD if that ever appears my backlog just seems to get longer and longer lol

Oh, and I'll probably want to play Sound Shapes and Retro City Rampage too. Both of which are B1GB.

Any idea when the round 3 discounts go live?

Tomorrow whent he store updates. The Vita games from the last few weeks will go at the same time so if you want something that was offered last week you'll need to check how long the deal is on for, many end tomorrow.

Did you hear they're wanting to port FFXI to the Vita as well? I don't think I'd ever put it down if it did! Sadly they're still only considering it :(

Not heard it no but then I've also not played XI. I took a vow to never play and MMO again after Legend of Mir 2 and Eve Online took about 7 years of my life lol. No I'm not joking.

The other question still remaining is about FF Type 0. It's still not been released in the West in any form and has been rumoured to be being translated and ported for the Vita since the PSP market is dead in the West.

And I can play it on vita now using remote play via ps3?

Yup. Some have done so already, I'll try and find a pic. EDIT: In the spoiler

It's the same file, you just can't play it directly on the Vita yet (should be in the summer, expected in August or September).

For the time being you can put it on your PS3 and play it via Remote Play.

Officially, without any faffing around?

rp2000

Yeah, you can play any PS1 game via remote play.

The only hackery on the Vita at present is in the PSP emulator which Sony have been very quick to slam shut by removing the games with the hole in from the store, patching them and then putting them back up.

Got a few trophies in SuperStardust Delta this morning. Got the 50 multiplier on the Rock n Roll minigame, the 20x multiplier on arcade and one other.

EDIT: The other was completing a planet on Twin Gun.

Also I've just started the 3rd planet and have yet to die so have already beaten my best high score of about 22million.

What games are you talking about exactly?

The Vita itself is region free, you can play a cart or downloaded game on it from any region you like.

HOWEVER, if it is a downloaded game, you can only play it on the account that it came from. EG, if you downloaded FF7 from the US PSN, you won't be able to play it on a Vita unless you are signed in to that account. And you can't have multiple accounts like you can on the PS3. Swapping over takes about 3 minutes and involves wiping your factory settings so things like network passwords and stuff all need typing in again.

In addition, if you bought a US cart and played it on a EU account, you won't be able to download any DLC for it, since the DLC is also region specific to the account.

Hi mate - Im a big fan of SS delta and have got some half decent scores - add me if you like - bigbilly37

Will do!

Hi,

Yes these are PS1 classics from US store as we didnt have some of them. What makes me sad is I can play them on my UK account as they download locally I guess so I don't have to be signed into my US psn account to play them on PS3.
Was really hoping I could play this way on Vita but maybe not :(

The PS3 can play content across accounts, you can't do that ont he Vita which is why you have the problem.

You can still play those games on any Vita, you just have to stay signed in on that account.

Any particular games? The EU have a big sale on Final Fantasy PS11 games at the moment if they were any of them.

Got 73.3 million in SSD Arcade. Died 3 times in total all on the last 2/3 levels. Really annoyed with 2 of them which were avoidable.

Shortly before my first death

IIRC, I had VII, VIII, Suikoden, Wild Arms, and Chrono Cross. Maybe I'll just play US games then or take the hit on the FF and rebuy them. Oh and Grandia.

This sale that is currently on the EU PSN might interest you then.

PlayStation All Stars will be out on October 26th in the UK.

Pre Orders get a bunch of different costumes for each character.

PlayStation All-stars Battle Royale is a crossover brawler style fighting game featuring over 20 first, and third party characters famous from a range of game franchises. Each playable character has its own unique set of attacks and moves, and the game features 1-4 player multiplayer mash-up action, both online and in local play at home. Additional features include, tournaments, rivalries, an award system designed to encourage competition, full 1080p HD output (on PS3 obviously), a range of different PlayStation themed play environments, and full PlayStation trophy support.

According to the comments they'll let us know nearer the time. I expect some kind of bundle. In the US MLB 12 was $60 for the PS3 and $40 for the Vita, or you could get both for $80. That was at retail.

Looking at some completed listing on ebay it looks like £150 can get you one and if you are lucky a couple of games too.

What has tipped you over the edge?
