Graphics are great, i was actually quite impressed with speakers, ok you have to have it on quite loud but the sound that comes out is good.

The headphones you get with the pre order pack are, in a word, rubbish.

Starting the system up, set date, time etc and now it says I need to do a system update to link my PSN account, but I can't access the home page or go back or it cycles back to the start of the set up :(

Help!

I had that, I think you just create a temp one to get in to it.

Anyone finding Fifa's graphics pretty poor? Looks more like the iphone version than Fifa 11 on xbox to me!

I find the graphics excellent for a handheld gaming device. I was never expecting 360 or PS3 quality and generally I'm very pleased with the Vita and the launch line-up has been excellent.

Fifa 13 on the Vita will be even :D

imo the speakers are pretty weak. I have them sat at 100% and its still not remotely loud.

Yeah the speakers are pretty poor really.

Ok thanks sounds like mine is normal then. There's no distortion like on some phones etc where having 100% volume sounds slightly blown out. Maybe they could up it a notch with a firmware update at some point.

yea exactly the sound isnt bad or anything just not very loud at all. Hopefully they will knock it up a bit with a firmware update. But in the mean time its not terrible.

I kinda was as that's what it's being billed as. If this is the best it can do, we're very soon going to see equivalent graphics on the iPad 3 - so we're buying into a device that isn't anymore powerful than phones/tablets, has much higher game prices (for even the same games!) and the only advantage it has is the physical controls. Just seems a bit depressing!

The Vita is more powerful than a phone/tablet, it's also 90% a gaming device which is very near the power of the PS3/Xbox.

As for the iPad 3, too much stuff is in the air about it, we've been hearing it's going to be revelled every month for the past 6 months. Personally I prefer physical controls for gaming and the Vita fits the bill. :)

I was thinking today (it hurt), it'd be pretty cool if Rockstar made a Red Dead Redemption sequel/prequel or a GTA IV Episode.

What he said. And you can also get a lot of Vita games/kit for the price of a 16gb iPad 2 (but then we fall into the argument of 'an iPad can do more' so lets not go there ;) :p)

Actually, phones shipping in April will have much higher general compute (Krait architecture) and sometime in early 2013 we'll see GPU output triple over the Vita.

...but as you say that's not the point, I think it's a great product from Sony. :)

Any idea how to transfer minis over? I have tried plugging it into the ps3 and using the content manager but it doesn't show any.

The way I did it was to go through my download history on the Vita's PSN store and re-download them, also that way your know which ones are compatible because their will be a download button next to the ones that work on the Vita.
