PlayStation VR / VR2

Seems to be a problem for people who haven't purchased the deluxe pack containing chapter 1 and 2. I've been reading the Deluxe owners have got both downloaded and can play them where as others like myself are unable to access the new Chapter 1 version. Glad I'm holding off making a purchase till this mess is sorted.

I noticed it vanished from the store but is back up now. Looks like I can buy the tourist upgrade for £7.99 to give me access to chapter 1 on ps5/psvr2 as I already own it digitally on ps4.

Would that work?

No :)

I tried and the PS5 version is still unavailable!

Strange, it wasn’t there. Then it appeared, but several minutes later it vanished again!

Almost feels as though they don’t want folk to be able to upgrade from the previous chapter 1 to the ps5 version without buying it as part of the chapter 2 bundle!

If you look on the store there are two versions of Ch1. One of them is unavailable and the other £32.99. Both are linked to the Tourist Edition DLC. Frustrating, I thought it would allow free upgrade. Unsure what PSN are like to refunds, haven't heard the best stories, but you rarely hear the good ones.

Been stuck in hospital for the last month so missed all the PSVR2 launch excitement. Seems to have been a positive launch, but as a VR virgin im still wondering if it’s worth buying, and there’s likely to be continued development etc, the PS Move was fun but short-lived IMO.

As it is, I’d only be buying it for GT7, for the experience, and I’d need a new wheel too cos I’m not buying a headset then using controller etc. Not been too convinced about other titles (tempted by NMS) but looking at the VR space it still feels like there’s no/few ‘full’ AAA games being made, and sim gamers are its biggest audience which is a shame.

Are folks happy with their purchase and optimistic for its future?
