PlayStation VR / VR2

Wow, it's really good but as ever within 10 mins your done. It looks really good and plays very well. One of the best vr experiences available.

Oh and Don't worry it's much better than that cod garbage we had a few weeks back.

X wing vr was a lot of fun. Far to short but you get a nice experience. Plays just like the flying levels in battlefront same controls etc just get the added immersion. Will certainly be playing it a few more times to get the medals.

I think i'm going to sell my PSVR and Move controllers on the Bay :(

I only bought the set up for Res Evil 7, but i finally got around to playing the Midnight Hour demo last night and i didn't really get on with it :(

- The moving at set angles detracted from the game - especially in combat.

- Moving to smooth rotation made me feel nauseous

- I was bricking it! I don't think i could make it around a full game!

They are going for silly prices so i think i will cash in.

Try setting turning speed to max and using really slow adjustments. Worked for me. Otherwise fair shout - if you're not enjoying it, get some cash back!

Try Headmaster first if you haven't tho - is great fun!

Mine is arriving today, £317 from Amazon :D

I really wanted it for Drive Club but from what I am reading and seeing the visuals are REALLY stripped back.

Yeah - simper tends to be better with VR. Games that look like traditional video games tend to be pap. Games that are all about looking at stuff tend to be good.

What we need is an on rails shooter revival. Time Crisis, House of the Dead etc. Like the classic games with the added bonus you can dodge out the way of stuff flying at you :)

i like driveclub, spent quite a bit of time just sat in the cars looking around and under, agree it's not the best looking game but it makes up for it in immersion :)

Been on it for a few hours, pretty shocked at how low the resolution is... being that close I guess it will show.

Best game was starwsrs... it's pretty epic

Resolution is not an issue for me as within a few seconds your brain is tricked into VR and totally immersed.

Obviously with time the resolution will get better (new techniques or PSVR 2 etc) so will help but right now I'm surprised how it's not an issue for me at all

if you're getting rid of two move controllers then please send me a trust! Can't seem to get them for anything.... :)

The PSVR and the controllers have been sold. I intentionally did not list them here as they are going for silly prices and i would not want to offend anyone or profiteer from members.

The PSVR went for £410 and 2 x used PS3 Move controllers with charging station £100 (private sale so no fees).

Keep an eye on Argos as they are meant to be getting another delivery tolorrow (13 Dec 16) or HUKD who are posting PSVR and controller availability:

Sorry

I've been made aware by my son that Ark is now finally out on ps4 as he wants it for xmas. Does anyone know if it really supports psvr? I would be very impressed if it does.

I don't have a PS4 Pro, but last night I thought I would try the HDR mode they added to uncharted 4 to see how it worked on the standard PS4

I couldn't work out why it wouldn't enable until I remembered about the breakout box not supporting HDR pass-through

What a silly thing for Sony to not consider. Do you think they might release another breakout box in future with HDR pass-through?

Has anyone else tried Hyper Void in VR? its one of the free PS+ games this month,it doesnt come under the VR section in the store and you also have to download the free VR add on.
Its quite like Tempest 2K and it looks and plays so much better with the VR add on. A pretty awesome shooter:cool:
