PlayStation VR / VR2

I was round at a friends house this morning and he showed me his vr rig on his PC, very immersive, thoroughly enjoyed it, played some robot fps, dead cowboy fps and a rolling demo of huge monsters fighting over a city.

I've got a PS4 pro and am sorely tempted to jump into vr, what would I need to buy?

The headset, a camera, what about controllers? Do you need the gun for fps or will a pair of controllers work OK? Thx!
Different games have different controls, you can get by with just the pad, until dawn rush of blood and London Heist work best with two move controllers, the aim controller and farpoint is amazing to play and is also supported by a few other games and the upcoming bravo team which looks very nice.
If you can pick up a aim controller + farpoint bundle that would be my recommendation

Is the aim controller ok for a leftie?

It look ambidextrous in the images I've seen, but can't tell for sure.
If it is I'll hit the button!

Anywhere in particular to order from? Any bundles worth looking at?

I need the headset, the camera, 2 controllers and if I've going do it I may as well get the aim controller/farpoint as well.

I've found somewhere that (not sure if I can mention the name - a toy shop with the same name as national newsagents/bookshop) has the above bits individually for about £530.00

If you need any help deciding which games to purchase, then PSVR World may just be the place to look. It features in depth reviews focusing on gameplay, immersion, game length, trophies and controller support. If you're interested, please check out this link :)

thanks for the link - I need a channel that keeps me upto date with all vr titles. Subscribed.

Having just picked up a PS4 Pro (for GT Sport) brings me to looking at PSVR, fill me in please guys! dead tech or worth a punt at this stage? to me it doesn't look like many games are making use of it.

I've not touched my VR since completing RE7 a day after release :(

Just no games to make me want to play. I want to sell it now I have my gaming PC as I'll no doubt just buy an Oculus or a Rift, but no doubt the second I sell it is when a big title is announced

So how many of your PSVR units are gathering dust?

I actually sent mine back to Amazon. Just had the feeling that it wouldnt take long for me to stop using it. Mixture of the technology not being good enough (at least for me), not many great games, and the fact I got a bit of motion sickness

:edit: actually, just remembered. My main issue with it was being able to see the edges of the lenses.

mines just gathering dust since i finished farpoint

waiting for skyrim and doom vr come out

just not many good games on it, same with pc vr...
