Hello :)

I'm looking to buy a PC to play predominantly World of Warcraft.

I have a budget of £1000 and based in the UK.

I'm a total noob when it comes to computers, so if anyone can please provide me a direct link that'll be great!

I am unable to build a PC myself.

Thanks so much

Configurator working here/now.
Have added 32GB corsair 3600MHz RAM as the Teamgroup is on pre-order.

My basket at OcUK:
  • 1 x OcUK Gaming Kalis - AMD Ryzen 5 5500 GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming PC (SKU: FS-1FT-OG) = £993.98
    • Case: 1 x Kolink Observatory MX Mesh ARGB Midi Tower Case - Black
    • Processor: 1 x AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Six Core 4.4GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail
    • Memory: 1 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C18 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMK32GX4M2D3600C18)
    • Graphics Card: 1 x Zotac GeForce RTX 4060Ti Twin Edge 8GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
    • CPU Cooler: 1 x Kolink Umbra EX180 Black Edition CPU Cooler - 120mm
    • M.2 Solid State Drive: 1 x WD Blue SN580 1TB SSD NVME M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 Solid State Drive
    • Operating System: 1 x Build Stock Microsoft Windows 11 Home Advanced - Systems

Total: £993.98 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Add the WIFI adaptor if needed.

Should say though £1000 for AM4 doesn't seem right and hopefully someone can do better.

Thanks so much everyone.

As long as it can play wow, I will be happy :)
You may be able to add the RGB version of the CPU cooler it's only £2 more if you wish but you would have to call Overclockers.

Let's us all now how you get on.

honestly is not very hard to build a computer and the forum would be more than happy to help you if you get stuck anywhere. If you build yourself you can get much better parts with more performance for the money. You can buy windows 11 key off the internet for less £15 or so and then use the £100 you save to put towards the graphics card or peripherals. I also believe overclockers lets you choose parts and then email them, they will build with the parts you list you provided to them, best give them a call to double check.

£1000 is a good budget for pc a decent pc.

what resolution do you play at?

WoW loves X3D cache, if you can fit such a CPU into that do so, even if it means going AM4.

I'm talking to the extent a 5700X3D performs better than a 14700K.

People who haven't played WoW see the system requirements/age and make assumptions, the game can be extremely demanding in some situations even with low settings, and that's often related to the CPU.

this is exactly what I was going to suggest if you can actually build the computer. Its a MUCH better system for your money and as mentioned WOW is a game that likes to have more CPU cores and threads.

Yeah, it's absolutely crazy how much the X3D cache helps in WoW.

One of the very few scenarios where I would suggest AM4 as a new build.
The system I came up with was about £100 more expensive but came with the 7600X3D, it is over budget but its much better than that prebuilt ones. If they cant stretch to this, then your recommended specs are excellent.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,155.85 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Nice build but that's a 7600X not a 7600X3D, as far as I'm aware they don't sell them in the UK yet and are currently only available in Germany for a horrendously high price.
unfortunately AMD decided not to do world wide release, only in USA and Germany if I am not wrong. But 7600x3D is too expensive AMD over priced it, might as well just buy the 7800X3D at the price they are.

I'm having problems with the configator b
go for the amber prebuilt pc instead then it comes with 32GB ram as base spec and a seperate wifi usb , i'm sure that you can afford the extra if you wew wanting to add onto the Kalis?
My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,064.98 (includes delivery: £0.00)

It's a good option as it's AM5 but It's only 16 GB .

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the replies, sadly i wouldn't be able to build a PC as i wouldn't know where to begin frankly.

I have got this in my basket, just wondering your thoughts on it?

I'm only playing at 1080p.

1x AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Six Core 4.4GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail
1x Kingston Fury Beast 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C18 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit
1x SAPPHIRE PULSE AMD Radeon™ RX 7700 XT Gaming Graphics Card with 12GB GDDR6, AMD RDNA™ 3 architecture
