Fit it now, it has to go in before the motherboard.

Oh my god. You are quite right. And now the board is screwed in!! This is a disaster. I dont know if I will be able to get it out again without damaging the thing. It was an extremely tight fit!!

Just take the nine or so screws out, and carefully lift up and away the motherboard and place it back onto the anti static bag.

Ok. I have got the screws out and the motherboard is back on the bag. Is this plate supposed to clip on becuase it doesnt seem to want to?

Yes, look around the edge of it, you will see little raised bits that the thin metal of the case will slot into.

rest it in the long square hole, long edge first first, and then bring the other long edge up and good firm push around the edges.

Make sure you get it the right way around!!! so what will be the top isnt at the bottom.

Right. I got the plate on (wrong way round at first!!) and the motherboard is back in and screwed down. No major errors. I tried to avoid touching anything but I did brush against the board a few times so hopefully it is alright!! Now it is just wiring

Add it last

Its so big it can get in the way of connecting up the wires, doing a neat job.

well, if you want to do it now.

the graphics card is 2 slots wide.

you will want to remove two of the cases blanking plates, you will want one that is inline/just under the top 16X slot, and the next one underneath this.
