Please Help!

I bought the one you recommended, I just applied it.. funny story.. there was already thermal paste on the GFX card, lol.. so I removed it and placed the new one.

Start up Max Temp: 50 Celcius

When loaded & doing nothing @ desktop: 45~ Celcius

It has decreased and the fan is making a little less noise :)

Pleasure :). So must have been the thermal paste or the cooler slowly worked itself loose and was making bad contact. Well now you know how easy it is to do and a good way to keep an old card working ;).
