PLEASE REMEMBER: YOU CANNOT TALK ABOUT COMPETITORS!

It's awesome, it's like a vague semi-enforced rule which was kinda sort of clarified slightly last year has just been made a bit more vague and confusing with some extra pointlessness thrown in for giggles.

I suspect the proof will be in the enforcement.

It would be different if they were stocking as many games as Game/Gamestation and other high-street retailers

Yeah, but even then, I dont see the harm in mentioning the competitors, as long as you dont directly link to games on their sites (cheap deals/sales etc).

Truly pathetic turnaround and just when you thought the place had settled on the rules.

Such a sad sad day at ocuk.

I know, it really is pointless OCUK selling games anyway, the prices are a rip off to nearly everywhere especially the mother of all game distributors.

So until you get the prices sorted out and a bit (more like a lot) more selection of games, it is pointless even advertising that you sell them as most people will know where to get there games from especially on this forum for a much better price.

OK, I do not mind talk about steam IF we do not sell the game (example : steam sell this game for this price) I dont mind talk about steam and games. We have a good community of gamers and Steam really is only games. Other threads have been about companies which also sell hardware which is a big no no. So continue, just be careful what you promote :)

So is this the latest forum rule or just your opinion?

The above suggestion just wouldn't work at all!

Good luck with that. Last time they cracked down on this I got a week ban for using the word rainforest.
