Please suggest me a case

Hey all,

really like the look of the Obsidian 700D, but would like to spend nearer £100 if possible. I'm after a full tower case that looks nice and subtle, has great cable management, cools well with good airflow and is quiet.

I have an SLi setup and I plan to OC my E8400 to 4Ghz so noise dampening, airflow and cooling are all vital.

I actually wish I got one at Christmas instead of my storm sniper as I actually prefer the looks and the cable management.
 
Would suggest the CM ATCS 840 it has better airflow than a 700D the 700/800D is aimed at watercooling mostly so you wont get a decent airflow.
 
Thanks for the suggestions. Trying to decided mainly between the 700D and the Fractal DD XL.

Cooling and low noise are the two most important things I'm looking for.

Is it wrong that I really like the look of the Thermaltake level10 GT? Shame it costs £200! Don't see the point spending that much personally.
 
 
Can anyone tell me if the door to the fractal XL shuts flush with the front of the PC? This will be a problem if it does as I have an XFi sound card with the internal drive bay. The volume controls etc stick about 15mm.
 
Can't help but keep my eyes on the ATCS 840. Like the 700D, it'sa bit more than what I wanted to spend, but I'm sick of my P180 and it's crap cooling and (lack of) cable management. I've had it for 6 years now too, so I'm well over due an upgrade.

Is the ATCS 840 quiet?

Yup, think I've decided on the ATCS 840. Any mods or tips worth noting? Thanks :)

It not silent if thats what your after, theres the faint sound of air been shoved around by the huge fans it comes with.

Modding tips? get a side window panel:D

As long as it's quieter than my P180, that's all I care about lol.

Never really been fussed about side windows. My installs have never been tidy enough or worth showing off lol.
