Still enjoying this a lot, after todays episode, although I can see how people could hate it, or think it's too slow.
It's definitely marmite, but the episodes are over too quickly to me, so I can’t be bored.

Just watched the latest episode, it's warming on me a little and I'd say this is the best episode so far.

A big part of my problem honestly is my utter dislike for Carol, I find her totally insufferable even if I actually agree with her. This is probably intentional on behalf of the people writing it, but given how few genuine personalities are in the show outside of the hive mind it can be a struggle at times.

I liked what they did with the casino scene and the guy essentially LARP'ing, and the gentleman in Portugal (I think?) is genuinely interesting to me.

I dont think its slow. I originally thought it was or would be a slow burner (still like it ), but I wil say, it may seem its a slow show due to there only being a small handful (1-3 most of the time) of people in any given scene due to the shows story. Also, add in that when Carol is travellling, theres no one around apart from herself. So any scene with her driving/walking will seem 'slow' due to to literally zero action/anything else going on. Scene transitions are just right. Not lingering past what is needed. A few scenes could be cut a little but it doesnt make much of a difference.
A prime example from the latest episode,
Carol in car driving to Vegas. Nothing around. Scene lasted circa 25-30 seconds, some would say its slow as nothing happened. However, you may not say that is there was other traffic on the roads, or peds walking near by.
Over all, I think its a show where nothing seems to happen but A LOT does happen.

Enjoyed this episode.

Yeah last episode brought us upto speed properly. Enjoyed that one. The Paraguay chap I find rather interesting.

Eh. I think my thoughts a few pages back are on the right track. The only mystery is how to reverse it and the Paraguayan seems to have an idea.

Still enjoying it.
And enoyed the sort of "reverse rug pull"

We expected their evil plan to be finally revelated but turns out they're just very practical based on their needs.

But I do have a problem with their needs. Like it makes NO SENSE to not want to pluck an apple from a tree, after all, it's going to fall soon enough anyway, but they're happy to let billions of sentient people die from their inaction to create food.
Kinda weird virus !!

Was half expecting what Carol found to be what she did in this weeks episode, was not expecting that cameo and did give me a chuckle that out of all the people in the world they went with that option for the videos.

Same. I must admit, I found episode 3 a bit dull and it didn't seem to move the story on, but I'm pretty hooked again now. It's very slow going, but somehow I'm enthralled. Thinking about it, BB was also pretty slow going but I guess I never noticed because by the time I watched it, it had been out for years so I ended up binge watching big parts of it and it never felt slow to me.

I rolled my eyes at how implausible it was that the Paraguayan guy seems to be about to embark on a massive roadtrip (I assume he's going to drive to Albuquerque?) in a poxy MG...then laughed when it broke down 2 feet outside of the garage. Realism maintained :D

Just really struggling to stay engaged with this at all. So little is going on and we seem to be spending 95% of our time with a thoroughly unlikeable main character. She was thoroughly unlikeable before the event and has continued in that vein after.

I like a slow burner but this just spends a very long time going nowhere and the journey to get there is boring.
