So you're walking round a big supermarket and you spot a bundle of notes on the floor in the Fruit n' veg aisle. You pick it up.......blimey it's £200 cash! :eek:

now, what'dya do?

Pocket it, thank you very much finders keepers or be a good boy/girl and hand it in?


I was going to add a vote thingy but I can't find out how to do it. Or do I need to be a posting god to add one?

Hand it in. If it was you that had lost it, you would want it handed in. Besides, the supermarket will have you on cctv finding it...
 
Report it at police station, wait a while as nobody will probably claim it, then its legally yours.

actually, no, I'd buy large quantities of alcohol, I've always wanted a full drinks' cabinet.
 
I handed it in. The woman behind the counter just took my name and number on a scrap of paper. She said she'd ring if no-one claimed it. (no she wasn't fit)

when I paid I popped back and asked her if anyone came for it. she said they did.
shesaid the guy was gonna ring me to say thanks - no one ever called

I'm beginning to think she could have just pocketed it herself!
