It's not that difficult really, you just have to keep an eye on dates and it all becomes clear.

From what I understand, Oblivious used to be a regular member here, stopped posting the end of '07 (for whatever reason), and passed away in late '09. Clearly some of his friends are still around and they thought it was nice to bump a thought-provoking thread he created shortly after his death (and subsequent anniversaries after), that nobody took notice of at the time.
 
Gone but not forgotten. Saw a poem today that reminded me of you.

R.I.P buddy. Hope you're still enjoying your yellow Lotus up in the sky.
 
I was seriously going to **** this off as some more Facebook nonsense, the Poem sounds like that, until I read the thread and dates,

RIP matey, wherever you are, I did not know you, but today I do.

PS: I just posted your poem on Facebook, its a social network thing.
