Pointless replies

Yeah I notice it. I get frustrated if a thread has potential but people don't put the effort in, GD could be a lot better. It sometimes seems that, unless there's a moral or political point to argue, or some 'advice' to dish out, people just cant be bothered.
The question is, can you be bothered?

I wrote a long-ish reply to that thread, does that help? :p

To be honest, I try my best to write reasonable length replies because if nothing else I'm too idle to just type 'lol' :o There's no point in pressing reply in that case.

I just added a reasonably detailed personal post, for me anyway, to add to the other, shorter answers :)

I don't often write very personal posts either but I did there :o Must have just been in the mood or something. :)

What, me in particular? I'm not sure what you mean.
I know you're not sure what I mean. But the question is, Am I sure what I mean?

The one that gets me is "can you back that up with statistics" for things that are generally 'known knowns'!

That's obviously a dig at me from the post regarding the rabbits. In that instance you were wrong. I requested a reference to the relevant law in case something had changed but it hadn't. How can what you say be a "known known" if you are wrong in the first place?
