Pokemon X and Y - 3DS - Oct 2013

I'd really like a Squirtle & Bulbasaur? :(.

Can you get all of the older legendary Pokemon in this game too?

If I have the evolved forms of Pokemon, can I still breed the starting evolutions? Stupid question.
 
Hi tummy when you start the game you get 1 of three new starter. 20 mins in you can get a download Torchic. About an hour or two in you get offered an original starter like bulbasaur or squirtle or charmander but can inly choose 1.

Yes if you breed a wartortle you get a squirtle.
 
Yep, I've got the Frog starter & Torchic (since evolved) and picked Charmander, but I wanted all three of the original starters :).

When can we trade them?

So it doesn't matter which evolved form you breed, you always get the first evolution? I've not bred before but intend to give it a go :).

froakie is my favourite but only if it has the protean ability. I restarted a shedload of times and never got it - I think you have to get one from the friend safari later.

I've gone with chespin on my Y restart just because I felt like a change. Most people pick froakie in my experience (seems to be in every squad except 1 that I battled online).

Fennekin is a bit of a joke seeing as you get torchic and the option to get charmander

Iv is like how good thr genes of a pokemon are.

IVs max at 31 in each stat.

Example if a pokemon with 100 base Attack+ 10% = 110 attack.

It's basically stat optimisation to give you great stats where you need them most.

How do you find out what the IVs are?

Realised I've got a surplus of Fire types! I always do, I can never seem to have a balanced party!

If I restart will I still be able to get Torchic or can only get him in one play through?

Anyone that wants a Gen 1 or 6 starter can also ask as I have all of them, including Froakie with Protean.

It coukd change the breeding group for instance im not sure a magikarp can breed with a Bagon. But magikarp doesn't learn hydropump or dragon dance till its a gyarados. Then gyarados can breed with bagon when it evolves from magikarp. But most can breed if they are the same

will get an extra squirtle the nd bulba in now just been out at football so not had chance to trade them in yet.
 
Let me know when you're ready to trade dude, am I ok to just go and catch a couple of randoms to trade?
