:mad: so I'm driving along with 3 of my friends minding our own business when we see this Audi A4 with tints swurving in and out of cars infront of us..with Polish license plates (surprise surprise)

We've just been for a drive from London to Oxford and we just drive like normal people. No harassing, no tailgating, etc.

A few minutes later we're driving side-by-side with the Audi on the A40, the next thing I see is the driver making obscene gestures at us and his goons laughing with him and then the passenger gets out of his window and the next thing i hear is a loud thud - it's as if something just hit the car....

I slow down and pull to the side and they carry on and drive through not one but TWO RED lights.(it was a junction by then)

I get out to take a look at what just hit the car and there's a deep dent in the left passenger door, cut all the way through to the metal about 2 inches long. They must have thrown a stone or something sharp.

That's one grand down the drain to find a replacement door panel and to get it sprayed and fitted and for absolutely NOTHING, for minding our own business and driving on the roads that we pay taxes to drive on.

I'm not even thinking what did we do wrong - I'm just thinking these Poles need to be taught a lesson in humility. And i know how that sounds but i'm absolutely disgusted by this and by the idea that they come to our country and behave like this with no reprocussions.

Unfortunately in the shock of it all I didn't get a chance to get their plates before they ran off not that it would've done much good anyway.

Anyway just wanted to share this experience with you all...I still can't believe it myself.
 
did you remember the liscence plate number at all?

making a point of them being polish dosnt make much diff, you get mean people from all nationalities.

who said anything about sending them back? Just taught a lesson in humility to be thankful to have an opportunity to come to a place like this to work and live and not harass the people that already live here and work hard to make sure this country stays a good place to live.
 
Could you identify one of them? Could your mates also identify one of them? If so then get in touch with the police and see if they can be bothered to assist.

I was commenting on the general attitude rather than what he explicitly said.

These threads are ridiculous. If the drivers were British, it would be a general rant about bad drivers and would be in Motors.

what a completely moronic and pretty much racist post. You're trying to say that there's no way a British person could have done the same? Or any other nationality?

So what if they were Polish? It's just one of those things.

Let's face it, this country is full of scummy chavish louts...and by my reckoning, the vast majority of them are 100% British any way.

I feel sorry for you, in so far that your car got damaged - but to turn around and say that 'these poles needs to get taught a lesson' is just out of order.

The vast majority of the Polish over here are good people. Just like the vast majority of English. Or the vast majority of Irish. Or Indian. See what i'm getting at? There will always be a minority - from every country or culture, who are, for want of a better word, idiots. (and posting threads like this puts you in the general direction of that category....)

The fact that the people who damaged your car were (probably - it's circumstantial 'evidence' that they happened to be driving a polish car) Polish, does not warrant a thread or feeling that all the polish people should be taught a lesson.

We live in a multi-cultural society and the sooner people started accepting it and trying to get on with things, the better.

as far as i can see, the op is just upset with "these poles", which to me means the ones who damaged his vehicle?

Why is it the moment a group of people is mentioned the PC brigade arrive sirens wailing?? Take the post in context people.

That would be "those poles" :)

If some British/whatever people bashed me I wouldn't go posting that "these British need to be taught a lesson" - it's easy to see what he meant, even though he'll probably contest that he didn't reeeally mean it.

Stupid attitudes thrive on the indulgence of society and must be stamped out :)
 
He is just ranting on about poles because poles did it, if they had been British and under 20 he would have been moaning about chavs.
 
Had trouble with them as well, pulled up outside crew station car park to drop off a friend at the train station we noticed a group of them huddling around the empty ticket box, the car were were in was a defender with a custom v8, so it makes a bit of noise, going past them got their attention, as we left with the friend they were eyeing up the car.
Decided to make it as quick as possible so we could stop anything bad happening because we were aware of what could happen, when we got back they had a set of pliers and were about to cut off the large CB radio aerial, we shouted and they scattered, later found dirt and mud shoved into the exhaust pipe. :mad:
