Polestar is just Volvo right?

Polestar is or was...the equivalent of like Nismo is to Nissan.... I think?

Few years ago I got my Volvo remapped with the official "Polestar" Volvo map at the Volvo dealer.

Anyway, aside from that, I have no idea if they are any good but I think they look great. Based on looks alone if buy a Polestar, chances are they are going to be pretty good if Volvo are behind them.

I am hoping to get a dual motor polestar 2 in a couple of years, I believe all of them are made in China rather than Sweden where Volvo are made.

My dad has one and really enjoys it. Road noise is considerable though but he does have the performance pack. He also has the leather option which is lovely but I agree with you about the price for it!

The Polestar has a smoother acceleration curve, but at about 4.2 secs 0 - 60 in real world tests its hardly slow.
I have the performance pack, so its a firmer ride than the Model S, but this is something I prefer, also handles well in the twisties.
Zero regrets in changing.

Sorry I realise there are quite a few variants to tesla, I assumed everyone would go for the fastest tesla, because its what I would do

. The polestar is more Model 3 sized though right? I'm classing the model 3 as a sort of 3 series size and the S as a 5 series sized car.

I was supposed to have this today. I even got there waiting and got a call from someone saying the car wasn't working and they had to cancel. It annoyed me as you'd think they would notify before the time you were told to be there. The pre sales before that was great, but this part was handed off to a shop to deal with and I think that's an error on their part to be honest with you. I emailed them and I'll see what I get back and if they rearrange.
