Police advising to AVOID ALL TRAVEL in Central & Lothian & Borders areas from 2pm-9pm

the worst of it should be passsing and we should be calming down now.

The next 7-10 days looks very violent with more storms to comr. Computer models have some apocalyptic systems passing through but the final outout will likely change. I would say the probabilitiy of a similar event next wetk is high but will hopefully no come to avail.

I ended up in the countryside yesterday, beside Lomond. It was a fair auld gale onnt thar.

We lost power a couple of times in the evening, with the longest outage lasting about an hour. Plenty of booze and candles meant we would have been fine though! ;)

I can confirm that after Hurricane Bawbag had passed (officially a cyclone I believe?) I have ended up in Oz where there's some *** in a lions outfit along with some jakey covered in bits of scrap metal following me around singing bad songs (Oz may actually be Paisley..). There was a scarecrow but he blew away :(
