just me or does anyone think that police/cps/judicial corruption should be one of the most highly punished crimes because it undermines the whole system.

Yeah. I think they should've thrown the book at her. I don't know enough about her specific case, it's possible she was led into it a little, but regardless of any extenuating circumstances, if there were any, they should still make an example out of her, so that other people take notice that if they get caught they will get the maximum sentence.
