Its a console port, plagued with bugs, cheats. No voip, no commo rose, the menus are poorly layed out, and it plays very poorly compared to bf2 or bfbc2. Ill still play it, but i just dont get as much enjoyment from it as the other two games ive mentioned. Pre btk it was fine, but typical dice, they go and screw things up with updates.

True, and it got sorted pretty quickly. But this is a cash cow game ala cod. Dice arent interested in fixing it. Theyll just wait to the next dlc release to get more money. I went on to bfbc2 for a few rounds today, a much better smoother running game. At least when you shoot someone, the kill registers. Some of the most fun nights gaming i had in bfbc2 was on the s18 home of the goats server mate, awesome fun. But bf3 pales into insignifigance compared to that.

New maps are kinda odd, they hyped "enhanced destruction" in the trailers and all that really happens is empty concrete buildings for some reason explode in puffs of smoke when they get shelled. There seems to be more buildings in these maps that take no damage whatsoever (not even scorch marks from tank shells) than in the stock bf3 maps. So much for enhanced destruction..

The bf3 beta and alpha were great, on release the game was a bit iffy. It got patched and it was near perfect. Btk came out, 20 steps back.

This, bf3 is a shocking gaming experience and somehow manages to even make bc2 seem so so much better. All style no substance

i was dissapointed with the game in a whole, let alone the expansions, bfbc2 and bf2 were so much better, there is lots of campers who you cannot kill as the building wont collapse, there isnt any good open maps like in bfbc2, glares from the sun,scopes,laser sights and flash lights are very irritating. the maps are no where near as good as the originals

This hits the nail on the head for me too. Im actually shocked at how many people have this same opinion I thought I was in the minority lol.

Though I do agree im probably looking back at bf2 with rose tinted glasses, bf2 and bfbc2 just played so much more smoothly and felt a much more balanced experience.

Is there a BF3 sux option? Can`t believe I paid full price for it, can`t say I have high hopes for the next bf game. Both BF2 and BC2 were miles better imo
