I'm a 5 or 6 kind of guy ideally.

In regards to which end to peel from, I was always a stem peeler until my wife told me that it's easier from the other end. I now give it a quick pinch and peel from the non stem end now.

7 is too ripe For me.

Prefer 4/5.

If its a 7 (which happens most of the time) goes in a smoothie!

Guys I need your help, everywhere I look online for what is a safe to eat banana seems to refer only to the skin

I don't eat the ******* skin though so how do I know if my banana is too ripe to eat ?

I'll eat the edible part if it's got a bit of browness on it, BUT my current nana it's gone a bit too mushy and brown so I presume it's no longer edible ? It still had yellow parts on the skin though  so by normal nana logic it's safe to eat, however the look and feel of the actual nana is off putting so I'm conflicted on whether to bin it or eat it

Do you also need help to tie your shoe laces?

Just ******* eat it :p

Needs to be just over 6, higher than 7 it's a lil to sweet for my tastes, under a 6 and not sweet enough.

Did you know that nearly all bananas grown for consumption are directly related to a plant grown in the UK nearly 200 years ago?

They're also at serious risk from an untreatable disease that's spreading through and wiping out entire plantations - a similar disease wiped out another more tasty variety of bananas in the 1950s
