Seriously though, why does all advice online about eating bananas only refer to the skin which nobody eats compared to the actual flesh ?

There's not even any images when you search "off banana" showing the actual flesh, so how are you supposed to know whether your banana is okay or not okay ?

By judging it on the condition of its skin. If the skin's battered, the nana inside is likely damaged. If the skin is old, the nana inside is by no means fresh

This is what I'm saying it was a 7 on skin

But the flesh was also like a 7 and didn't look too great, but if you use skin condition to judge edibility then it was edible ?

It is his daily attempt to drag a Brexit discussion into any thread possible, because he's banned from Speaker's Corner forum where the main Brexit thread is.

But yes, the struggle is real. All those Canary Island and Caribbean banana farmers just waiting to plant and grow new varieties of banana that are impractically bendy, all to satisfy some bizarre EU myth that is actually a myth.

Well I am disappointed about that last bit, as it means my bowl full of 'mythical' curved bananas are not the treasure I hoped they may be and I will just have to eat them rather than profit.

I'll eat them from 3 onwards. 3 a bit tough and 7 might be starting to go dry but they still go down well.

Used to love 'em, still do, but somewhere along the line I simply stopped buying them (maybe due to dryness/funny taste in the mouth). I don't miss them much at all.
