Recently (about five weeks ago now) I was in the market for a new PC. I priced it up here, and on competitors, and you couldn't even get within £300.
Every time I see some one post a link here it takes me about five minutes to beat the price. Well, aside from B stock any way.
I'd like to order more from OCUK, but the fact is you always work out to be more expensive. The last product I bought from you was a reboxed 6970L. Before that Razer Boomslang 2007 for £35. Before that a Zalman V3000F which was cheaper than your competitor (there was only one..).
Since then? it's always been cheaper elsewhere.
I also had issues with your RMA. When my 6970L failed I requested an RMA, but instead of the company just saying "Hey, send it back" they started quoting loads of BS rules on me about restocking fees ETC.
That scared me off and I ended up RMAing back to MSI in Holland.
There's one company who does RMA right. The people on the other end of the phone are not computer junkies and thus won't sit and argue the toss with you over something. Obviously I can't mention their name, but they have it right. You phone up (free I may add none of this 087 nonsense) and they say "OK" and generate an RMA for you.
I've had issues with numerous companies getting all uppity when I want to return something and then going out of their way to prove a point, screwing me over (by being blind).
If OCUK can offer better than that, and, prices that are at least within the margin of error? I would have dumped over £3k with you.
But as of now? it just ain't happening mate.
First of all RMA, yes we were poor at the time you had to RMA as 6970 would have being a few years ago. You may or may not be aware two years ago OcUK was taken over and now has new owners in the form of
