No have not upgraded anything still debating 4790K/Z97 or 5820K/X99 kit.
Skylake is the only upgrade worth having because it's totally different to Haswell, it should be miles better, it's just a case of keeping your rig as is for the next year, what's so hard about this
it's a bit naughty of them to release X99 realising it's only for about a year and a half....i'd be very cross if this was me
my main issue right now and for the next year is tackling this dreadful heat problem that i'm getting, so i might switch to a custom Work Bench........or convert a PC into a Work bench, this means i can raise my OC a bit higher.
the Antec Skeleton would have been perfect if the top fan wasn't so low, because it'll foul my coolers![]()
well you're better off waiting

I haven't seen any major changes in Skylake to make me think it's going to make it worth waiting for if you planning on buying a new PC just now.
Anything specific that you think would make a big difference? Not asking in a confrontational way....fancy upgrading my i7-920 and want to know if there's anything specific which will make a difference beyond what Broadwell and Haswell-e will offer?
Just get a nice hex core Xeon instead.
