Unsure : I'm just a drama queen and can't make my mind up.

Added as a poll for you but also added an extra option. I run NVSurround with 3 x 22" 16:9 screens so superwide would be a downgrade as far as I'm concerned.

None of the above :p

I love 21.9 and at first I thought I would never be able to go back to 16.9 but... the benefits of 27" 1440 144hz IPS g/free sync could sway me back for these reasons:

- much better motion clarity
- much smoother
- no screen tearing with little to no input lag nor FPS drops disadvantages that in game vsync can often bring

Unfortunately I am very sensitive to all the above 3 :(

But if there was a 34" 1440 144hz g/free sync screen (which won't happen till display port 1.3 and GPU's capable of using that port) then super wide all the way :p

I love my superwide monitor. Is amazing for most games with the exception of Dota2, where the HUD gets in the way because they havent bothered making the game fit ultrawide yet

I absolutely love my superwide. I was initially a bit apprehensive about the curve however I barely notice it. The aspect ratio and size work perfectly for me. The workspace is great and the immersion in games is better. I've got absolutely no complaints about the aspect ratio, resolution or monitor choice. It's pleasing to sit in front of and the feeling hasn't worn off after a few months with it. I have no desire to return to 16:9 at all.

I'm thinking I might miss two x 16.9 though...

Thinking of getting two Dell U2715H...instead of one U3415w

Two will completely fill the top of the Fredde idea desk.

This has 2 x 24" on it.

I have an LG 29UM65 21:9 2560x1080 60Hz IPS and a BenQ XL2410T 120Hz 1920x1080 TN.
I use the BenQ for gaming though as I couldn't go back to 60Hz.

I actually cringe when I move a window from the LG to the BenQ.. The colour and image quality is so much worse.

Might replace the LG with a Dell U2515H though as I feel I'd benefit from the extra height greatly.

i sort of disagree, i had an eyefinity setup and at first i was impressed but the novelty wore off and did not like the outer edges stretched giving a fish eye look, ive found the 34" 21.9 fits the bill nicely

Just bought the Samsung......

Will let you know at the weekend if it was the right decision coming from 27" 120hz :(

I watch tons of movies and game quiet abit so hope its gonna be good.

dont be dissapointed when you turn it on as the settings out of the box are a bit naff and you will need to do a bit of tweeking

Been using a 21:9 Asus mx299q for about a year now and I'd find it hard to go back, plan on upgrading to a 34" when a decent upgrade comes along.
