My head hits the roof in the Corsa but not in the Fiesta, so therefore the Fiesta wins plus I have a MK7

Either living a nightmare with their car choice, and wishing the same upon others due to their twisted mentality caused from much suffering and hate..or, die hard Vauxhall fans who love their little motor even though they probably spend 5x what it's worth on parts.

I don't own a Corsa...

Tbh neither a corsa or fiesta are great cars but both are ideal first cars. Buying the best of either available would be a good choice for a new driver.

There's so much hate for corsa's on these forums! Yes the ford is a better drive but I doubt your girlfriend will care and corsa's will probably be cheaper so look out for both a buy the best value/condition one!

Haha its a perfectly good first car I know the fiesta is better but there both pretty meh cars and the 1.4 16v fiesta I've driven a lot is the worst engine I've ever come across all the throttle is in the first quarter of the pedal and it refuses to rev it just get louder and louder but barely excellerates granted it handles and steers a lot better than a corsa though.

Back in 2003 I wanted a nearly new small hatchback, I went for test drives in a Corsa, Fiesta, Clio.

Overall I felt the Clio was the best package, equipment, drive, looks (but only just). Fiesta second, I spent about 5 mins driving an SXI Corsa before I walked away, terrible interior, dash, seats, and IMHO out of all the cars looks the worst.

You have it in gear right and not stationary? I mean when you put the pedal down most cars if not all cars accelerate

Sounds like it was broken! That's the great thing about the zetec / duratec engines in the fiestas, very responsive and happy to rev.
