Poll: who is better

Possibly because barely anyone is insane enough to think McHammer dances better than MJ.

I dont know why MJ voters are failing to see what im saying. MJ dance style is not as energetic as that of Hammer so in theory hammer should be able to do MJ move easily.

You dont think MJ's performances are as energetic as Hammers??!!??

Have you even seen him perform?

The only reason why Hammer was energetic was because he was off his face on concaine !

In Honesty, i havent see them live on stage but i have seen DvD of live performances. I still think Hammer is much more energetic. Look at the Videos in the opening post, Hammer's had more energy and rhythm to his move than MJ.

Rubbish :)

I really don't like MJ. But it's clear that'd he'd absolutely wipe the floor with the Hammer :o

Yup, beat me to it. Gilly, you're right about MJ being better than the Hammerman but Elvis was the best performer that we have ever seen on this green Earth. I can watch the opening sequence from "That's The Way It Is" over and over and I still get goosebumps watching the man and seeing just what a master of his game he was. More people watched Elvis's "Aloha From Hawaii" concert on TV than watched the Apollo Moon landing and that just makes my mind boggle.

Elvis had some fantastic moves and no mistake, it's just a shame he got so fat and couldn't do any of them and then died :(

:/

I know he could thrust his hips a bit and curl his lip.

I was under the impression he only got popular because he made the black music of the time accessible to white folks.

Lets not take this thread off course though. Feel free to correct this thought but do it in Music in it's own thread :)

I don't want to go too far off-topic as Gilly has already asked but there is something electric watching Elvis at the top of his game. I used to like MJ when I was younger, I was a big fan in my teenage years but now I think Elvis had so much talent in him when he was alive it's unreal. Gilly and Elrazur, have you seen much footage of Elvis? He wasn't just about hip thrusts and lip curls, there is so much more, I love watching him interact with the crowd and some of his adlibbing moves he starts doing are so good too.

Back to Jackson/Hammer from now though :)

I have seen some of it n boy, i wasnt impressed. I have seen better. In terms of dance/entertainment, Elvis is like Vaniila Ice - Good but kinda gimmicky and definitely not the best.

ElRazur.. do you know anything about performing arts or detail of either dancer?

You refer to Michael Jacksons moves, and yes they are 'his' moves, he invented the majority of what you see on screen. Mc Hammer did not invent the majority of his. Furthermore, Michael Jackson actually improvises a lot of his work which is unbelievable when you look at it on screen. This happens in such videos as Thriller and Billie Jean where MJ turned up, told the director he would just go out there.. did it.. and shazam.. magic.

Truly an awesome artist only mellowed somewhat by his recent actions.
