tbh you did play well could have gone either way i make a lot of mistakes on the power 
There was a patch to fix that, seems like they don't do much testing before pushing updates
Quite enjoying the game, have had a few problems where the ball is inside the pocket and still shows inside the black hole on overview, quite funny to watch the computer try to pot it but a bit annoying as you have to restart the match
Also installed a update from today and kept getting crashes every time I clicked on retry on matches, checked the steam community page and it seems the developers pushed yet another buggy patch

It seems they just put another update to fix the other update ...
Not sure they do any testing before pushing updates?
Just hoping there isn't another bug

Crashes quite often for me, but still having fun. It's a darn good game!
The game also seems a bit weird in the way it's executed
There are some threads on the community page about antivirus programs with heuristic capabilities picking up the game launcher exe as a trojan/keylogger

It seems to execute Game.dll which is actually an exe renamed to .dll (copy game.dll from the game folder and rename it to game.exe)

No Aims? Madness!
I think I could deal with that if the power of the shot was more consistent with what I expected and you had more control over the view without accidental changing your aim. I'll try it out some time though

It's the only way to get better!
I think if you play with any kind of aim assist you'll just become reliant on the game working out the angles for you.

Yeah, windowed mode fixes this, but it's not ideal.
And besides, it's bloody hilarious when you dont pot a ball for 10 minutes....

I'm semi competent at Pool however!I'll give no-aim a shot later, but I feel I'll miss out on the fun spin/chip shots which are horrific to try and judge even with the aiming UI! I guess when playing online you can set up a lobby that blocks assists so have an even game?
What's everyone's highest scoring shot so far? I got a 22k by some sheet fluke yesterday. Smashed the que ball into another ball, which bounced off of 3-4 cushions before cannoning another ball into a pocket
In terms of intentionally trying to do a shot rather than a stroke of luck; I think the best I've managed is bouncing off of a single cushion and another shot managing to pot 2 balls in different pockets.
I occasionally play snooker with a mate during the week, and it is not unusual for the score to be around 8-8 20 minutes in to a game...all points coming from fouls!
