Poorly describe a movie and guess what it is

It's in the old days and this man had a dog and a job and stuff, and then his boss dies and his son takes over and this guy loses his job and his wife and son are killed and he's all "arrgggg" and then they make him fight and he kills everyone and he kills the son and dies.
 
This thread reminds me of the Rich Hall joke:

On topic - some water is hit and kills 1,517 people and then a woman refuses to move over to her side and boyfriend dies.
