How come you're switching over from hue avdub? I'm adding more proper hue fittings and still over the moon.
I've decided to buy Smart switches and reduce the amount of Smart bulbs we currently have, so for example the kitchen has 28 bulbs of which 20 are only used when cooking, so Smart switch wise, it would be better to have non Smart bulbs for this duty.
8 Bulbs go down the middle of the kitchen and are used when eating and when the OH does the accounts, so dimming for eating, TV watching (which decrease in brightness towards the TV) and then bright for her work, would be better off with Smart bulbs.
One hallway has 8 Smart bulbs, of which only 2 are on automation (one during the night on Smart sensor @10% and one outside the wet room @20%) with the others not really needing to be Smart.
The wet room has multi colour & white Smart bulbs, that have never been used, nor has the dimming function, so usual bulbs would work just as well as Hue for us.
There are many other examples and tbh Hue has been good, but we really do not use Sunset over Kenya or Moonlight over the Alps
settings, so are wasted and as a Smart bulb.
