If it was 3k to get it done at a stealer and due to that the specialist also wanted a stupid amount I would do it myself.
Im the type of person who will be buying a 10 year old GT-R and if one seller told me "ive paid through the nose for the oil change to be done by a bloke in a Nissan cap and have all the receipts to prove it" another told me "I had the oil changes done by my local garage and have all the receipts to prove it" and a third told me "I did all the oil changes myself and have all the receipts for the oil to prove it was quality stuff" then in all honesty I would treat all three statements with equal value.
