Mac Steam, Portal 2 and EP3. There was me thinking Valve were just concentrating on making zombie games these days...

According to some guys on the Steam forums, if you have the achievement, you'll get a new ending, or some sounds added to the ending, as per this last update.

Edit: Confirmed, new ending sequence. (Spoilers)

Wander round with one of the radios (once you've found them) and wait for the light to switch to green. You'l then hear a SSTV (slow scan TV) stream or morse code. There are 26 of these radios and a walkthrough has cropped up on the steam forums I think.

well me thinks that portal was some kind of experiment in hl2 universe maybe experimenting on new super combine soldiers ? and maybe episode 3 will be linked with portal ? :confused:

I've started a new game but the radios do not appear anywhere. Do I need to get a certain achievement beforehand?

I do, but mine has a blue light on it.

EDIT: Just found a site that says this happens after you complete the game. I don't have the heartbreaker achievement yet so it seems that I need that first

Love Valve, this kind of thing is absolutely a spot on way to get the community yabbering and make people buy games instead of pirating them imo.

On another note another bloke here who's never played portal, how fail am I? :confused:

In Episode 3, Freeman will have to get to a ship called the Borealis, which was involved in an Aperture Science experiment in some way...

Portal is one of the few modern games I have actually completed. Good game. Ven The Escapist couldn't find anything bad about it.

I completed Portal before they added achievements to it though (on release), so I don't know if it's given me any radios as yet.

I have just played and completed Portal for the first time, what a bizarre game? Its seriously given me a headache.....never again am I playing that!
