.What i never understood is why wouldn't they make it?
If something is popular then they pretty much have to otherwise it's an insult to thier fans and pretty pathetic, really with the kind of money they have they should easily be able to get enough devs working on multiple high quality games year after year.

Funny how the steam console gets annonced then suddenly news of half life 3.
It will be. Valve aren't stupid enough to lock out most of it's market. I guessing that it'll be a launch or early release for SteamOS and that it'll be free to those who purchase a Steambox, maybe free on Linux too. Windows users will have to pay the usual RRP.

If they start work now Half-Life 3 should be released by 2020
