I have a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 mobo (latest BIOS), with core i7 920 cpu and Corsair ram.
My machine has been freezing every so often, but now it doesnt get past Starting Windows either in Vista or Windows 7. It occasionaly boots into Windows for about 5 or 10 minutes. Sometimes it throws up a Machine Check Exception BSOD or a A clock interrupt not recieved by second CPU BSOD.
I tried different hard drives, removed sticks of memory and still got the same issue. Have a decent PSU with plenty of power for my rig.
This points to CPU or Mobo. Is it likely to be the mobo? Any way I can check?
Or should I RMA both the CPU and Mobo?
