The important question is will I regret buying a 295 x 2 for sub £300 and the answer is no TwsT you will not regret yours astonishingly good deal. nothing will touch it for the money.

:D :D :D

I just realised, that if AMD is only going to release its next range in the next few months and these are going to be 28NM,it means we will be close to 5 years at least on 28nm. Nvidia has only just released the GTX960 and Titan X and the GTX980TI is yet to be released and these will on the market for at least a year, maybe, longer.

It'll have no probs beating the 980. It will trade with the TX. These forums will also be swarming with people telling you what a great card it is by beating something whilst costing less than half.

If they are they will have a good point so it would not be surprising. It needs to hit this kind of performance first which is not a given at this moment in time.

yea right

it's obviously going to be more powerful than a 980.......but will it look ok, run ok and will it have naff driver support, well yea it deffo will :D

but the big question is, what will the 390X2 be like ??? that is if AMD make it, because that'll be the only card worth selling a TX for...

i bet it is, you can bet the 390X will be more powerful than the 980.... otherwise Nvidia wouldn't be bothering with the 980TI....this is because they know it's close to the TX, but the TX is way too expensive to compete, so they need the same card yet again but miles cheaper

Apparently TSMC are hoping to have 7nm risk production underway in 2017. So next GPUs might go like this if it happens (it won't):

2015 28nm
Fiji

2016 14/16(20)nm
Pascal
Arctic

2017 10nm (first true sub-20nm finfet node)
Volta or Pascal 2
AMD???

2018 7nm
Skynet becomes self aware
