Never above 75C and 51 dBa is only by the skin of its teeth?

Yes. 51dba is nothing to be proud of, that's hilariously loud, especially when the rest of your rig is sub 30dba at idle.

Heat wise mine was unusable, I literally couldn't touch the case front with my bare hand and that was with the rad set up as an exhaust. 75c was reached within 5 minutes of gaming and that was using two fans on the rad in push/pull.

Since when was it 51db? Kitguru did a review of the vesuvius system with 2 295's in it and registered under 40 db load.

Seen other reviews showing it in the early to mid 40's.

I can vouch for the noise, it was way too loud to be gaming without headphones, fans required to be at 100% as soon as I started gaming, no fan profile needed.

Probably because of the way you had your fans setup, the way they're setup in the kitguru review on the front panel of the 750d ive found is the best way to run the card in that kind of case.

lol that's Is very true. just wish there was some really competition do you think we should have some polls on some aspects of this guy ?

like what price it will be

and how it will perform next to the titan X ?

Only you guys could start to derail the thread after we get some juicy info to power the hype train along!

Should I set aside a minimum of £600 for this card?

I'm still using a 7970 @ 1920x1200, I very nearly upgraded to a 290x, however even a 290x will struggle to fully max out GTA V it seems. I want something game changing, that maxes GTA V with ease.. for less than Titan prices!

Id say were so close now to both the new AMD cards and the cut down titan 980ti that its pointless wasting money on a gpu, just lower settings for a bit to cope with the demands of newer games, save the cash and then upgrade day 1 and bask in the glory of smashing all before you! :)
