Is that a extra deep radiator at the back?

hVK8M3v.png

Fiji X has an in-built Arc Reactor meaning it needs no power source and can actually positively contribute to the national grid.

It pays to have Fiji.

No the GTX980 it appears now.

Lol, what?

That radiator is fat. Must do a great job at cooling, unless Fiji is hotter than a thousand suns.

There's air versions as well so it can't be that hot?

Just looked at videocardz, now saying the TX and Fiji trade blows. If that's true guess it comes down to pricing.

It'll get fatter once a fan or two are on there. Anyone getting this AIO cooled Fury will have to have a AIO cpu cooler too otherwise any Noctua/phantek air cooler will leave no space for rear mounting this beast.

Will the air cooled Fury be SFF as well? I still think calling the watercooled version SFF is a bit of a con because its radiator won't fit in most SFF cases, it just seems like positive spin on a cost reduction exercise.

It depends if the shroud is for the radiator only or for the radiator and the fan together.

Good spot Cat, yeah looks like that is the fan and rad in one. not to bad then. Could fit in the front of my CM690III, back end is blocked with H105. Can only fit a single 120 at rear.

In all honesty if this just trades blows with TX, I'll just keep my card rather than have hassle of selling etc.

Nice for new buyers though providing Fiji is a fair bit cheaper. Will all come down to price.

Of course, and no other companies do that..

This is a good design because we were able to add an additional 1 GB for GTX 970 and our software engineers can keep less frequently used data in the 512 MB segment

Fan is already on there. Its the tank that's fat. Fan is kinda embedded. Theres a better picture of the whole thing somewhere in this thread.

Sounds like a problem blokes with tiny and/or impractical cases might run into, personally I'm quite confident my Enthoo Primo would accommodate an AIO cooled gpu just fine without ever coming to conflict with the NH-D14.

Yeah even my Luxe won't have issues with this, and I'm using an NHD-15. Not interested in loud ass fans though, might end up getting an air cooled card instead.

With the primo you could use the rear exhaust fan mount point. Or maybe the bottom fan mounts. Though you'd probably have to raise the case up a bit as in standard form the bottom fan points don't draw in a lot of air as they're too close to the floor/desk surface.

I was thinking the lower rear exhaust mount.
