Was read on many forums, alots were not impressed with Fury X performance neck to neck with Titan X, Fury expected to be 10% slower than Fury X so it put Fury at GTX 980 OC level but lots of owners overclocked it to 1.4 and 1.5GHz core. AMD will have huge challenge to sell Fury and Fury X cards with same performance as 980 Ti and Titan X, many people will be glad to keep GTX 980 with monster 1.5GHz core that is faster than Fury and others will sell it cheap second hand when they upgrade it to 980 Ti. Both GTX 980 and 980 Ti are very attractive products and prices now.

So far these are not official...
If the fury pro is indeed 10% slower, then yes oc 980s are close, until you OC that 10% back on fiji or even more (which is easy even on the not ic friendly hawai chips), and the OC 980 disappear in the dust again.
You need to seriously cut the fiji to fall back almost 30% to 980 level.

Basicly fury is matching the TX and Ti...the difference is when the latter to appeared every panties were full wet how awsome those cards are, when amd brings the same performance its meh....:(

So you are saying the gtx980ti is pointless since you can overclock a gtx980 for less money, but then why bother with a gtx980 when you can overclock a gtx970?

So basically no Nvidia card is worth it over £300.

Fury X will win some and lose some benchmarks to 980 Ti, guess like 3DMark score it will be neck to neck in games benchmarks too.

AMD is shot in both feets. Cards will be paper launch on either 16 or 18 June but from that time AMD will send Fury card press kits to reviewers so they have to complete reviews and put up online on 24 June. People are impatience wait a long time to pre-order Fury and Fury X cards on 24 June but it probably wont ship cards until July or August lol.

Based on a fudzilla article...where they just wrote this just because...seems legit.

AMD already sent out the cards...not to reviewers, but to wholesales as well..for the start it won't be too much ofc, but its on the way to the stores.

Yes people will see floods of second hand GTX 980s very attractive in few months after 980 Ti have enough stocks supply then buy EVGA Hybrid watercooler kit for £30 and overclocked it to 1.5GHz.

Wait so using your logic then the gtx980ti is doomed because a cheaper gtx980 will match or exceed it,so no one will buy it using your logic.

But a cheaper gtx970 will come close to a gtx980 too,do that's doomed too,right using your logic.

But now they are buying the gtx980ti - you seem to contradicting yourself?

Is that a extra deep radiator at the back?

Yess amd went under :(

Plus the GTX980TI is doomed as no one will buy one as you can buy a secondhand GTX980 which matches it in performance because loads of people will ditch the GTX980 to buy GTX980TI cards which no one will buy because of the secondhand GTX980 cards everyone should buy but no one will buy the Fury X since the secondhand GTX980 cards are better and AMD is doomed and will go bankrupt and make the average E-PEEN length of a GTX980 owner(NOT GTX980TI owner) go up by 1.5 MEGAPEENS,and the average E-PEEN length of GTX980TI owners go down by 1.500000001 MEGAPEENS giving the GTX980 ultimate MEGAPEEN VICTORY.
