But the fans and pump barely take much power? Still don't get it.

If youre willing to live with a 2500rpm fan and a 30degree delta, so your GPU hits 65 degrees or so, you can cool a lot with a 120mm rad.

Don't forget GPUs tend to be designed for higher temps than CPUs. It's not uncommon for a stock GPU to have a temp target of 80 degrees. I'd never let my CPU get that high.

No chance, i really hope there are air cooled cards. But the rumors say AIO only.. :(

Much rather get an MSI Gaming card if they had one tbh.

The rumours have said a lot of things, take them all with a pinch of salt. There are as many saying air + water as there are water only, or 30,000 cards only or 30,000 is fake.

Loads of contradictory rumours right now. Only a few more days until we find out what's what. No point posting sad faces worrying lol. Just wait a few days and we will find out..

Looking forward to E3 this year ! Dis gonna be good :D

AMD Radeon Fury X Graphics Card Pictured, Uses 2 x 8-pin Power

You just never know what's going to come your way on Facebook on a Friday night. Take this evening for me: there I was sitting on the laptop minding my own business when up pops a notification about new messages to the PC Perspective page of FB. Anonymous user asks very simply "do you want pictures of skylake and r9 fury x".

With a smirk, knowing that I am going to be Rick-rolled in some capacity, I reply, "sure".

[/SPOILER]

Without knocking the card what i will say is those hoses do look short, but i do think most AiOs hoses are to short

Can't see the fins of the rad either but i'm guessing it's made for fast loud fans, that's gotta be a loud ass fan on there.. no mistaking it.

Ok i'll shut up about the fan now :D

It's exciting to know that future graphics cards could be this short as they take advantage of this new memory technology. This card will look amazing with a water block. My R9 290 is very heavy with its block and back plate. For me, this is the most exciting thing about this card.

It's not the best looking card but depends on what the performance is like, I mean who buys cards for what they look like anyway :)

its a factor! perceived value!
they need a girl on their design team id of made it look sexy as hell :)
i think they tried to play safe with all the black
its a high end card tho its a shame they didnt really go for it *sulk*

I think AMD told an even bigger whopper recently lol

I wonder how many people bought their cards because they were told that by now we would have loads of Mantle based games.

Mantle is a bit like Elvis

Dead and left the building.:D

Lol. True. :D

A lot of people were wondering why AMD haven't been hyping their new range. It looks like it may very well be because there is not much to shout about. Oh we don't need vram anymore so let's release a rebrand of the 290 series with 8GB then give our flagship half of that. Sometimes you wonder if they are working against themselves. I really wanted to get the Fiji card but the more clear it got that it would be 4GB led me closer to an aftermarket 980Ti.

Such an Nvidia fanboy :p:D;)

I do think Fury X will beat Titan X, but if it is just 4gb then it will put a lot of people off. Never know, maybe the Fury X sku has 8gb. But it seems like that is more likely to come a little later.
