I wouldn't mind seeing an end to post counts, I'm quite wary of having such a small post count it means I obviously don't frequent this forum often whereas I pretty much have a good lurking session every day since I've joined.

Only makes a difference to me in the members market. I tend to trust someone with a higher post count more than someone with a lower post count. I wouldn't normally buy from someone with no trust and a low post count but I would buy from someone with a high post count and no trust.

i love the post count, i hate the spam that certain users post to boost their count.

Should another option be added to the poll :
Report Possible spammers to cap their post count, OR, remove a post from their number = 100% votes.

I like the ranking system in particular. Seeing those avatars in the corner of your eye makes you subconsciously aware of the member type you're reading - It gives the more avid posters easy recognition, which is a good thing, imo.

Shouldn't it be posts per day which matter... rather than the count?

I mean if you've got 5000 posts in a month, that's insane, but 5000 posts in say 7 years is bupkis.

I like being able to see people's post counts, it gives me an idea of how invested they are in the OcUK community, used in conjunction with the users joined date you can get an idea yourself of how spammy they are.

I think a high post count means more to the people who have a high post count than the people who do not if you get my drift :D

The more posts some have the more arrogant and rude they become and believe they are invinsible from suspension which in most cases i have witnessed is true.
