Post in here if you're a Red Dwarf fan

I rewatched them from start to finish recently, including series 7, 8 and Back To Earth. They're not as bad as I remembered them.

Series 8 in particular has some great moments in. The bunk scenes are back, which is a massive help, but I think they got into the right swing of writing without Rob Grant.

Series 7 suffered massively from the loss of the audience, Rimmer, Rob Grant....

Mister Flibble :D

Smeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

I think I almost died when I first watched this due to lack of oxygen, couldn't breathe I was laughing that much :D

But nothing beats tongue tied :D:D:D:D:D

I opened this thread expecting to see OP being trashed :p

Red Dwarf was great, really doesn't need a reboot

Classic

Off his head there ? it's nothing like star trek

anyway huge dwarf fan here favourite episode is probably either marooned or the one when rimmer commands the waxwork dummies in battle he says sipping sancerre in a white tent on the hill overlooking the battle

"All in all, a 100% successful trip!"
"But, sir, we lost Mr. Rimmer."
"All in all, a 100% successful trip!"

I was just doing a little test... a little test to see if you had gone crazy...

*CHOOOOOOOO*

...if there is one thing I can't stand it's crazy people.

So let me get this straight. You wanna fly on a magic carpet to see the king of the Potato People and plead with him for your freedom, and you're telling me you're all completely sane?

Mr. Flibble's very cross!

Definitely in my top 5 episodes!

RIMMER: Now this three-dimensional sculpture in particular is quite exquisite. Its simplicity, it's bold, stark lines... pray, what do you call it?
LEGION: The light switch.
RIMMER: The light switch.
LEGION: Yes.
RIMMER: I couldn't buy it, then?
LEGION: Not really. I need it to turn the lights on and off.

7 has its moments, a few decent episodes. Not a complete write-off by any means. 1+2 are the best by a mile for me(2 edges it for Queeg)

We're talking jape of the decade. We are talking April, May, June, July and August fool.

I agree, although I rarely watch through season 1-2 but often go back to 4-5 as I love episodes like Polymorph and DNA. 1 and 2 are just sheer classics, dated, but still good!

Would have loved for them to have done Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers as a movie or a feature episode.

Kryten: Careful, sir. The linkway's about as stable as an Italian taxi driver who's got stuck behind two old priest in a Skoda.
