Post your bikes thread

What I've read about the 1200 is that it handles very well with some massive poke. Should be a tad different to my divvy 600. 1200 will be good for when me and the missus go 2's up.

Am i the only one that finds it VERY nice in this colour????

Yummy!
Only minor differences made on Tuesday
- Altered the angle of the plate - a temporary fix till I fork out on a new tail tidy and find some way of bending a piece of metal to the right angle.
- Sprayed the intake ducts gloss black. Again, a temporary job, as it's already starting to crack.
- Removed the grab handles from under the fairings. I don't plan on taking pillions for at least the first few months, so I don't need them, and they spoil the lines. No more!

Kawasaki's should be green, everyone knows that! :p

Plus, I win ten points because mine is green. I then lose five of them because it's not quite the right green, it's too pale. You can tell by looking at the wheels (particularly the front), and then the fairings. They suddenly look paler.

I wouldnt worry - Kawasaki change their shade of green regulalry. I personally love the much darker shade they have been using recently. Looks great with black decals/trim

Got any better pics of the Ohlins on your TLR?
Where did the forks come from or are they custom for the TLR?

My dads and mine Harley 883 Sportster, and my Suzuki TL1000R with Yoshi system + power box and ohlins all round :D

My dad has got a sportster as well(1200 Nightster) and I love riding it. Totally different animal from my zx6r and I wouldn't mind one myself :D

Rilot mate will get some pictures when I go out to garage next. I should've been more clear, it's an Ohlins rear shock, and original front fork casings but Ohlins internals. Handles mint but needs setting up properly cos is set up for previous owner who was a good few stone lighter than me!

Touge, nice ZX! Can't believe you like the sportster riding style?! I tried it and compared to the Tiller it's so wierd lol, it doesn't feel like anythings connected to anything else and it just plops along lol!

Best colour scheme that one aint it ;P n shiney yoshis = semi lob :D. Wtf did you do to it to make it blow?! Thought they were pretty much bomb proof apart from clutches. Also is that a 190section or 180 section rear you got on yours mate?

bling yoshis way forward :D (and make small children cry lol)

not sure what happened, started clunking then siezed.. crescent couln't find any cause without total engine strip so I sold for scrap :(, it had done over 40k hard miles though.

yeah 190 metzs, not ideal for handling I know and just a all round bad tyre, what you got on yours ?

Bahh, I went all the way to Luxembourgia and back and the only picture I took of the bike was waiting for the ferry at Dunkerque! Suppose that means I have to go back!

Flukestar that sounds naff haha! I've got a 180, but thats only cos I'm a ***** and get all me tyres off ebay. 180s just lot easier to come by. Did you really find it makes that much difference with the 190, or just people giving it the biggun reckoning it makes soooo much diff?
