Post your christmas bonus

A bit late perhaps, but anyway...

I just got my Christmas bonus!!!!

It was £15 of vouchers to use in stores such as Comet, Halfords, Poundstretcher etc. I now feel really valued as an employee of this company. What a joke.
Our share price went up about 25% over the last 12 months and we are in the process of being bought by the Spanish for £12billion, but they think £15 of vouchers for the 2000 staff is a suitable reward.

EDIT - AND they sent them recorded delivery which meant I had to get out my bed early on a Saturday to go and pick them up. Some real good joined up thinking :rolleyes:

£100 (minus tax and other deductions) from my employer.

Four bottles of wine, a bottle of champagne, and a few beers from various staff members of our main client.

£500 + 4% pay rise, dont get the £500 till end of january though and it only tends to happen when its been a profitable year.

the 4% thing is based on attendance though and is the maximum % given, so good job i got it seeing as i didnt have any days off

The only thing I would class as a "bonus" was an ice scraper and reflective arm band, though I did get a hamper from an ex client.

Bonuses meh - I get a payrise every year. And I get paid. Why ask for a bonus as well! Never really understood getting a bonus for "just doing your job". . .

I hate to post it but it was £1750 before tax, I get a 25% of my wage bonus with about 1/4 of it in december and the rest in june

Yeah. I work public sector, and i don't even think anyone get bonuses in that sense.

Although if you take a wider view, I am quite happy something immaterial i got just before christmas - who cares about money in the face of truly important things
